Meghan Markle ‘puts stamp on Prince Harry’ with ‘controlling’ display: ‘Not a good look’
Meghan Markle has been accused of “controlling” behaviour during a recent public appearance with Prince Harry.
Lady Victoria Hervey joined Nana Akua on GBN America to discuss criticism afforded to the Duchess for seemingly telling a woman not to stand next to her husband.
Harry and Meghan were at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge held at the Grand Champions Polo Club last week where the Duchess handed her husband the trophy following his team’s victory.
“Like, ‘he’s mine, go over there’, she sort of hand signals him to go somewhere else then goes in for the kiss.
“It was a gesture of domination, not even letting another woman stand next to him in the photo.
That’s not really a good look, is it?”
Nana agreed and suggested Meghan did not look “sure in herself” at the event.
She added Meghan often lacks affectionate displays in public and is often “pushing him (Harry) away”.
“She’s always kind of rolling her eyes”, added Hervey.
I’m sure this is all a bit premeditated. She’s now launching her new strawberry jam that just came out.”
Nana commented: “She’s come out with this jam, this is her first product, I think she’s coming out with other things like birdseeds and organic shampoo.
“It’s just so unrelatable to most people. I front have birds. I don’t have birdseed. I don’t have the space for cages and animals, I don’t know what she thinks she’s doing.
It feels like she’s at a loss as to her own brand identity.
Hervey continued by questioning Meghan’s appearance, saying her elegant look did not bed in well with her surroundings.
“She looked good, but you don’t wear stilettos to a polo match”, she said.
Despite the awkward exchange, Harry and Meghan appeared in good spirits at the event as they were photographed smiling and holding hands.
They even shared a kiss onstage after the polo game which supported Harry’s Sentebale charity.
