Jason Kelce responds humorously to brother Travis’ joke with Joe Biden at White House visit
The Kansas City Chiefs were invited by the President of the USA after their Super Bowl LVIII win
The Kansas City Chiefs got another trip to the White House to meet president Joe Biden after their 2024 Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers but even the seriousness of that occasion couldn’t make Travis Kelce turn off his comedic side, making his brother laugh too.
The famous American landmark has been used by countless men to deliver ground-shattering addresses to the nation, from Roosevelt’s declaration of war on Japan to Nixon’s resignation after Watergate, and now from… Travis Kelce too.
My fellow Americans, it’s nice to see you all yet again,” Kelce said, addressing the room. “I’m not going to lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here I would get tased so I’m going to go back to my spot.”
It was a bucket-list moment for Kelce, who loves a bit of showbiz and spotlight on him based on his NFL personality and his TV and film personality, and his older brother was happy he got to do it too.
Man, I’m not going to lie, that was tight,” Jason Kelce posted to X.com, formerly Twitter. “Well done @tkelce, doesn’t get much cooler than that!”
Is President Biden the Chiefs’ receiver solution?
Patrick Mahomes, despite winning his second consecutive Super Bowl by throwing for Mecole Hardman in overtime, struggled throughout the regular season with wide receivers devoid of form.
That includes Kelce too, whilst it was their rookie, Rashee Rice, who stood up to be heard. So now they’ve recruited Louis Rees-Zammit and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, but could it be the current President who solves their solutions after he tried on an NFL helmet?
It was cool to see him put the helmet on,” Mahomes told reporters. “We didn’t expect that.
Whilst Coach Andy Reid added, “You all witnessed it. It’s history being made,” about the 80-year-old putting on one of the helmets.
