Anne Hathaway Shakes It Off as She Dances Up a Storm at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Show in Germany

The actress was spotted dancing to Swift’s performances of ‘Shake It Off,’ ‘…Ready for It’ and ‘Blank Space’ on Friday, July 19

Anne Hathaway showed off her best moves at Taylor Swift’s latest show!

On Friday, July 19, the actress, 41, was spotted attending Swift’s Eras Tour show at Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins Arena in Germany, where she danced up a storm as she enjoyed the performance.

In multiple videos posted on X (formerly Twitter), Hathaway could be seen grooving to multiple tracks, including, “…Ready for It,” “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space” from what appeared to be a VIP section at the arena.

In one clip posted by a fan, The Devil Wears Prada star held her arms out, raised them in the air and even jumped up and down as the pop superstar, 34, performed her hit “Shake It Off” from her 1989 album.

Another video saw Hathaway lifting up her arm to the beat of “Blank Space,” while also chatting with someone standing next to her.

Another video posted on X also captured the star during the Reputation era of the show, showing off her moves to Swift’s “…Ready for It.”

As the singer sang the lyrics to the 2017 track on stage, the actress bounced from side to side as she moved her arms in the air to the beat.

In a post on her Instagram Stories on July 20, Hathaway praised Swift’s show, writing alongside a video of the star performing, “Thank you phenomenal, moving, powerful, fearless @TaylorSwift!!! Huge shout out to the incredible Eras crew!!! Best picture-wrap celebration EVER.”

The July 19 show marked the singer’s third and final show in the German city of Gelsenkirchen, before she heads to Hamburg for her next Eras Tour stop on Tuesday, July 23.
Swift’s most recent show saw her perform a surprise mashup of 2019’s “Paper Rings” and her song “Stay Stay Stay,” from 2012, which was subsequently rereleased in 2021 on Red (Taylor’s Version).

“I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with paper rings, that’s right, you’re the one I want,” Swift sang, before she then moved on to “Stay, Stay, Stay,” a track that includes the lyric: “That’s when you came in wearing a football helmet.”

Swift is currently dating Travis Kelce, whom she was first linked to in September 2023, when she attended one of his NFL games. The couple then went public with their romance the following month.

Their relationship has given the “football helmet” lyric Swift sang on July 19 a new meaning, though 34-year-old Kelce himself was not at the show. However, he attended his 13th and 14th Eras Tour shows on July 17 and July 18, respectively.

The NFL star has returned to the U.S. for training camp in Missouri ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ preseason games in August, which will then be followed by the regular season beginning in September.
