NFL Players Imitate Travis Kelce in Hilarious Video: ‘Hey Taylor How You Doing?’
An array of tight ends showed off their comedy skills in a video shot at Tight End University in Nashville
NFL tight ends can do impressions, alright now!
While at Tight End University (TEU), the annual event that celebrates those who play the position, players toasted (and roasted) one of the founders of TEU — Travis Kelce — with their own impersonations of the Kansas City Chiefs star in a video shared to the NFL’s Instagram account.
“Alright now,” Dallas Goedert of the Philadelphia Eagles said, referencing Kelce’s trademarked phrase, while the San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle also offered his rendition.
Meanwhile, other athletes channeled the podcaster in other ways.
“New news!” Pharaoh Brown, of the Seattle Seahawks, shouted, referring to a popular segment of each New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce episode.
“Hey Taylor, how you doin’?” the Eagles’ C.J. Uzomah joked to the camera, referencing Kelce’s musician girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Lucas Krull of the Denver Broncos had fun with another marquee moment in the Chiefs star’s life — when Kelce sang the Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)” following the team’s Super Bowl win in February.
Kelce, Kittle and Greg Olsen’s annual event officially kicked off its fourth year on Monday, June 17 in Nashville, Tennessee. The event’s official Instagram account took fans along for the first of three days with the trio, which included a welcome reception and swanky gift bags for attendees.
In one video, Kelce, 34, shares hugs with Olsen, 39, and Kittle, 30, before the trio went for one big group “bear hug” as they reunited for another year of the immersive program.
“Bear hugs only — tight end style,” the caption of the video read.
