Brittany Mahomes Emotionally Reacts to Husband Patrick Calling Her a ‘Hall of Fame’ Mom and Wife
‘She pushes me to be great,” the Super Bowl MVP said before adding, ‘she’s done a lot of great things herself
Brittany Mahomes is receiving some sweet praise from her superstar husband, Patrick Mahomes.
On May 2, the Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback, 28, appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. Discussing the host’s recent announcement that he and his fianceé Nina Agdal are expecting their first baby, Mahomes spoke about his family life — and showered his wife of two years with compliments.
“A huge part of the equation that is Patrick Mahomes [is] your family — your life in general,” Paul, 29 told Mahomes in the episode. “I imagine having someone who — you’ve known her since the 10th grade — having someone who just [shows] unwavering support for that long obviously plays a massive part of your success.”
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” Mahomes, a father of two, responded. “Taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft and everything like that. Just being a hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife.”
“It makes things a lot easier … when you get to come home and your best friend is there. You can just hang out. It makes you want to be there all the time and so, she pushes me to be great,” the quarterback added. “She’s done a lot of great things herself.”
Sharing her heartfelt thanks for the compliment on May 3, Brittany, also 28, shared a post to her Instagram Stories that featured a graphic of Mahomes’ kind words along with a photo of the couple together. The former soccer player and mom shared it with a teary-eyed emoji and a white heart.
They have often been candid about how they parent — as well as their love for each other. Just last month, Brittany shared a throwback photo to Instagram of the pair in high school and reflected on the longevity of their relationship.
“Who knew 12 years later we would be where we are at!” Brittany wrote on her Instagram Story, tagging the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback in the quirky high school photo, and sharing another picture of the pair reenacting the exact same poses.
