Travis Kelce and Niecy Nash-Betts Enjoy Some ‘Late Night Shenanigans’ on Grotesquerie Set: ‘Buckle Up!’
On May 7, PEOPLE confirmed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end would appear on the Ryan Murphy-helmed show
Travis Kelce and Niecy Nash-Betts are having a blast on set of Ryan Murphy’s new FX series, Grotesquerie!
In a video shared to her Instagram Stories on May 8, the Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story actress, 54, revealed a behind-the-scenes look into filming the upcoming horror series. The two could be seen sitting in a red convertible.
Nash-Betts, 54, was fashioned in a white head scarf and sunglasses as she quipped, “This guy!” She then panned the camera over to Kelce, 34, who laughed and held up a peace sign.
“Buckle up!” he chuckled as Nash-Betts let out a giggle of her own and said, “Oh lord!”
In addition to tagging the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, she captioned the video, “Late night shenanigans.”
Nash-Betts also shared a video of Kelce hugging Murphy on set. In the clip, the NFL player lets out a playful laugh as the actress asks him, “How you feel?” He then responds, “I’m just glad I didn’t hurt nobody!”
On Tuesday, May 7, a source told PEOPLE that the three-time Super Bowl champion was joining Murphy’s latest FX project. Shortly after, Nash-Betts posted another clip of the two hanging out together on set.
“Guys, guess who I am working with on Grotesquerie?” the actress teased, before turning over and revealing Kelce who proclaimed, “Jumping into new territory with Niecy!”
“We on site!” she added.
Her caption for the video read: “This is what happens when WINNERS link up!! @killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie.”
Kelce later shared the clip to his Instagram Stories. “Steppin into a new world with one of the legends,” he wrote, tagging Nash-Betts.
Nash-Betts’ “winners” comment refers to her Emmy win for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and Kelce’s third Super Bowl win with the Chiefs earlier this year.
This isn’t Kelce’s first step into television.
He’s taken on multiple Hollywood projects including producing the film My Dead Friend Zoe and hosting the upcoming Prime game show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?. He also hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live back in 2023.
