Travis Kelce enjoys night out at Mediterranean restaurant Saaya with friends after getting booed at Dallas Mavericks game
Travis Kelce was seen grabbing dinner with some buddies in Dallas after being booed at the Mavericks’ playoff game Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end sat with a group of friends at Mediterranean restaurant Saaya in a picture captured by photographer Diego Lira.
Kelce wore the same white T-shirt and ripped jeans combo as he did for the NBA game and kept his sunglasses on inside the downtown eatery.
One of the people dining with the NFL player, 34, was Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. It is unclear how they know each other, but Elliott, 28, played college football at Ohio State, which is close to Kelce’s hometown of Westlake and his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati.
Kelce enjoyed the night out after facing some negative feedback from fans while watching the Mavericks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107.
The three-time Super Bowl champion attended the game with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
For reasons unknown, Kelce received jeers from the crowd when he was shown on the Jumbotron.
However, fans seemed to like Patrick and Brittany, both 28, who were cheered on when the couple was featured on the screen.
The Chiefs teammates have played together since 2017 and won the last two Super Bowls.
Over the past year, Kelce has been in the spotlight even more due to his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The “New Heights” podcast co-host and the “Tortured Poets Department” singer, also 34, secretly started dating last summer and have since been spotted enjoying a romantic getaway to Lake Como, Italy, packing on the PDA in the Bahamas and even going on double dates with some of their famous friends.
Early on in their romance, Swift flew across the country several times to see Kelce play football, and he returned the favor by attending a slew of her Eras Tour concerts abroad.
Most recently, the athlete was spotted at the pop star’s show in Paris with her close friend Gigi Hadid and the model’s boyfriend, Bradley Cooper.
Swift played two shows in Portugal over the weekend and will head to Spain for her next show Wednesday.
The Grammy winner has a jam-packed June ahead of her, too, with 15 concerts across six different cities and countries.
